Job Title: Commercial Manager

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to promote our brand and product portfolio, focusing on gaining market share in the building services sector, specifically in supplying heat pumps to various channels. This role will cover the whole of the UK, and you should expect to be on the road 2-3 times per week.

The ideal candidate will have experience working for an engineering biased manufacturing company and possess excellent communication skills. They will be highly motivated, have commercial acumen, and be comfortable with numbers. The successful candidate will also be able to work as part of a team, supporting both the operational team and peer group.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategies to increase market awareness and promote our heat pump solutions.
  2. Create a healthy pipeline of opportunities and present designs to meet customers' requirements.
  3. Build and manage offsite sales pipeline for specified customers and develop relationships with top customers.
  4. Meet or exceed sales quotas and collaborate with key internal departments as necessary.
  5. Ensure output delivers exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  1. Experience working for an engineering biased manufacturing company is preferred.
  2. Excellent communication skills and high degree of personal motivation.
  3. Commercial acumen and comfortable with numbers.
  4. Ability to work as part of a team supporting both the operational team and peer group.
  5. Strong negotiation skills and flexibility with regard to working across all areas of the business.
