Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative provides support to individuals with various needs, including learning disabilities, mental health issues, and physical disabilities. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be part of a team that delivers high-quality support and care to enable people to live fulfilled and independent lives.

We are seeking a dedicated individual who can provide 24-hour support within clients' homes or shorter, focused support for individual tasks or care needs. The role requires a full valid driving license and a car, as driving is essential for this position. You will also need a Level 3/5 qualification in Health & Social Care and good organisational skills.

The successful candidate will be able to think creatively, build relationships with clients and their families, and work effectively in a community-based setting. A strong understanding of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is also required. Cartrefi Cymru offers a competitive salary of £28,590.45 - £29,140.26 per annum, pro rata depending on the choice of salary option.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including 20 days annual leave (plus statutory) rising to 25 after 5 years, plus Bank Holidays in lieu, and enhancements for some bank holidays. Other benefits include occupational sick pay, enhanced maternity leave after qualifying period, fully paid training and support to achieve QCF qualifications, and an Employee Benefits Scheme offering shopping discounts, technology scheme, and cycle to work schemes.
