Job Description

The Role

We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our UK team at Scendea, a leading international product development and regulatory consulting group. As an Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing administrative support to the Business Support Team, and contributing to the company's growth and success.

The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for completing administrative tasks autonomously, including placing orders and bookings, preparing meeting materials, and providing general administrative support to the wider team.

You will also be responsible for managing reception duties, including being a primary point of contact for deliveries and telephone calls into the office. Additionally, you will provide good intra-office communication, send out internal communications to the wider team, and communicate with external suppliers.

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who can work independently and as part of a close team. You will have a strong sense of integrity and be able to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing administrative tasks autonomously, including placing orders and bookings, preparing meeting materials, and providing general administrative support to the wider team.
  • Managing reception duties, including being a primary point of contact for deliveries and telephone calls into the office.
  • Providing good intra-office communication, sending out internal communications to the wider team, and communicating with external suppliers.
  • Supporting the Business Support Team in ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) improvements to the office.

Requirements

  • A competent level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel & Word).
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills (both written and oral).
  • An adaptable, flexible, and enthusiastic team member.
  • Able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to demonstrate initiative.
  • A strong sense of integrity and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a close team.
  • Attention to detail, and with a service-oriented attitude.
