About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our community-based therapy team in South Molton. As a Specialist Community Occupational Therapist, you will be working with adults registered under South Molton and Wallingbrook medical centres, covering a rural area close to Exmoor in beautiful North Devon.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients and their carers, managing a clinical caseload of patients with varying levels of complexity and health conditions.
- Work as an autonomous practitioner, often lone working, and provide supervision, training, and support to junior staff and students.
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team working in a community setting, ensuring that therapy input is integrated into patients' overall care plans.
- Participate in weekend working and contribute to the development of the service in line with patient need and trust-wide developments.
