About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with a variety of clinical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitation programs for patients with complex needs.
- Deliver group therapy sessions and provide individualized support to patients.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered goals and plans.
- Supervise and mentor Therapy Clinical Support Workers and Occupational Therapy Students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services and policies.
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and delivering group therapy sessions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
