Pension Fund Manager

Reed HR is collaborating with a local authority in East Sussex to find an experienced Pensions Manager. The successful candidate will manage pension arrangements according to current legislation and oversee audits, working independently within the Pensions & HR team.
Contract: 2-year fixed-term contract.
- Ensure a strong understanding of all pension matters within the organization for both Support Staff and Operational Staff.
- Apply pension statutory regulations correctly and keep employees updated on changes.
- Manage pension projects, produce recommendations after research and risk assessment, potentially overseeing resource management.
- Auto-enrolment arrangement management for all Pension Schemes, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Audit implications of change and collaborate closely with team members and administrators to ensure efficient operation.
- Deliver excellent customer service to scheme members and employees, providing guidance through regular communications via intranet and face-to-face communication.
