About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Financial Business Partner to join our team at Allwyn UK. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will play a critical role in providing financial leadership and support to our business partners across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide high-quality financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making, including monthly analysis of overheads and identification of opportunities to improve financial performance.
  2. Business Partnership: Work closely with our People (HR) business area to provide financial leadership and support on key business projects, ensuring that the business remains within financial governance and preparing business cases for senior management.
  3. Financial Leadership: Provide financial leadership on strategically important business initiatives, ensuring that the business remains within financial governance and preparing business cases for senior management.
  4. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide quality ad-hoc analysis to influence management decisions and support the business change agenda.
  5. Relationship Building: Build strong relationships across the finance team and wider business, driving the business change agenda and sharing best practice across the organization.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Qualified accountant with advanced Excel/system skills, SAP, BPC, and SAC is preferable but not essential.
  2. Customer Focus: Maximizes personal contribution to the business to deliver on time and right first time.
  3. Analysing and Decision Making: Analyses problems thoroughly and makes good timely decisions. Supports others' decision-making through insightful analysis.
  4. Managing Performance: Proactively takes responsibility for personal development. Helps others by overcoming barriers. Is a role model for the leadership agenda within the finance department.
  5. Proven Business Partnering Skills: Proven business partnering skills, commercial focus, and passion for business partnering.
