Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our Workshop Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and fault-finding issues with vehicles and trailers, ensuring all vehicles and trailers are maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and fault-find issues with vehicles and trailers using latest diagnostic equipment
  • Maintain and repair vehicles and trailers to manufacturer's specifications
  • Ensure all parts are booked out correctly and accurately
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation
  • Provide support and assistance to the Fleet Workshop office staff to meet and surpass all agreed targets
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workplace environment
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Qualified HGV Technician up to Level 3 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) or part-qualified HGV Technician up to Level 2 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair)
  • HGV Class 1 CE licence beneficial
  • 3 years previous experience required
  • Intuitive diagnostic skills
  • Ability to carry out PMI to DVSA standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative
