HGV Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our workshop division, you will be responsible for diagnosing and fault-finding issues with vehicles and trailers, ensuring all vehicles are maintained to manufacturer specifications, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Ensure all vehicles are compliant with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • Qualified HGV Technician up to Level 3 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair) or part-qualified HGV Technician up to Level 2 (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair)
  • 3 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
