Job Opportunity: Wellbeing Assistant Advisor

Venesky Brown, a reputable public sector organisation based in Glasgow, is seeking a skilled Wellbeing Assistant Advisor for an initial 3-month contract with a competitive hourly rate of £15.50 (PAYE). This hybrid role will provide an exciting opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders.

  • Provide high-quality advice and guidance to line managers and staff on people-related matters.
  • Escalate complex issues to P&D Advisors/Consultants for effective resolution.
  • Record attendance and provide management advice to individuals and line management as required.

Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing Expertise: Act as the first point of contact for people-related queries, providing high-quality advice and guidance to satisfactory resolution.
  2. Casework Management: Record absence and return to work on the system, and provide attendance management advice to individuals and line management as required.
  3. Supporting Team Members: Work proactively to support Advisors and functional remits, ensuring timely completion of individual/team deliverables.

This role requires a high level of flexibility and organisational skills to manage competing demands and priorities effectively.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Experience: Educated to SQA Higher level or equivalent, with moderate experience in a relevant field.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to interpret and apply policy and procedures effectively and consistently.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to interpret, manipulate, and analyse data for reporting purposes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
