Salary:
The salary for this role is £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Key Support Worker to join our Support for Families Bereaved by Crime (SFBC) team. As a member of the team, you will provide compassionate and empathetic support to families bereaved by murder or culpable homicide. This will involve:
- Providing structured social support, emotional, and practical assistance
- Sourcing and providing up-to-date information
- Liaising with other justice and community organizations
- Supporting families as they interact with the criminal justice system
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A SVQ3 Level or equivalent experience
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- An ability to use your initiative and work independently
