Job Description

Great Bear is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our warehouse operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the warehouse team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and that the warehouse is a safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure that their needs are met.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
