Trade Finance and Lending Legal Counsel Role

Eximius Law is seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance and Lending Legal Counsel to join our team in London. As a key member of our Trade Finance and Lending legal team, you will play a crucial role in advising on new products and initiatives, structuring complex transactions, and providing guidance on legal and product issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on new products and initiatives in Trade Finance and Lending
  • Structure complex transactions in collaboration with product specialist lawyers and regional heads of legal
  • Provide guidance on legal and product issues to ensure compliance with the business' risk management framework
  • Support the legal function in transactions, global credit markets lending, and corporate banking matters
Requirements:
  • 6-10 years post-qualified experience in general/bilateral lending and trade finance transactions
  • Business acumen and knowledge of relevant regulatory framework
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
