Trade Finance and Lending Legal Counsel Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance and Lending Legal Counsel to join our team at Eximius Law. As a key member of our legal function, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business in Transactions, Global Credit Markets Lending, and Corporate Banking matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on new products and initiatives, working closely with the Head of Legal and other stakeholders to structure these new products and initiatives, and to produce legal documentation.
  • Provide transactional support and guidance on legal/product issues to ensure compliance with our business' risk management framework.
  • Assist on complex transactional work, including multi-product and/or multi-jurisdictional transactions in collaboration with relevant product specialist lawyers, regional and country Heads of Legal in and for Europe.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their career in-house, working for a top investment bank or someone who has already worked in-house in a similar capacity through a permanent role or secondment.

The successful candidate must be 1-3 years post-qualified (PQE) with previous experience in general/bilateral lending and preferably also in trade finance transactions. Business acumen and knowledge of relevant regulatory framework is a plus.
