The Family Information Service at Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Officer Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in handling information and updating databases/IT systems, as well as knowledge of early years and childcare provision. They will be responsible for maintaining and updating accurate, high-quality information on childcare, early years provision, and other services of benefit to parents, prospective parents, children, or young persons in Oxfordshire.

The ideal candidate will be a highly effective communicator with experience of delivering information and advice via telephone, email, and face-to-face. They will also be able to travel throughout the county and hold a full driving licence with access to a vehicle. A confident individual, who is able to represent the Family Information Service in the local community and promote the service at events/meetings.

The role offers a range of benefits, including a relocation allowance of up to £8,000, annual leave starting at 28 days per year, and a comprehensive Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
