Job Overview:

SPECIALEducation Ltd is a leading education agency providing high-quality teaching staff to schools across the NN6 area. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inclusive Education Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Inclusive Education Assistant will work closely with students with special educational needs, providing one-on-one or small group support in mainstream and specialist school settings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting SEN learners and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
  • Prepare engaging learning materials and classroom resources.
  • Provide one-on-one support to SEN learners in the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a classroom assistant, preferably supporting SEN learners.
  • NVQ qualification is ideal, but Unqualified Teaching Assistants (UTAs) with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting SEN learners.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation.
