ProTalent Limited is currently working with a successful and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Ipswich to recruit a new Accounts Senior. The Firm:

The Role:

Your core responsibilities as an Accounts Senior will include preparing client accounts, tax, PAYE or VAT based work and identifying points for the partner to raise with clients and potential additional services. Finalising paperwork for dispatch to clients and HMRC, meeting deadlines and quality standards.

  • Prepare accurate and timely client accounts, tax returns and financial statements.
  • Monitor own job quality and quantity, meeting targets and exceeding where possible.
  • Interpret tax returns and financial accounts for effective tax planning.
  • Assist with audit work and bookkeeping tasks as required.
  • Prepare client tax returns and advise on tax payable and payment dates.
  • Support clients with accounts software and other bookkeeping queries.

Requirements:

  • ACCA/ACA Qualified.
  • Previous experience operating at Accounts Senior level.
  • Commercial approach with excellent communication skills.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join our team. The salary for this role is estimated to be £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
