Job Title: Financial Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team at Recruitment Services UK. As a key member of our accounting function, you will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, reconciling purchase orders on our CRM system, and setting up new suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices and reconcile to purchase orders on our CRM system.
  • Set up new suppliers and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger.
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements, raising queries and chasing Project Managers and Suppliers.
  • Payment runs and issuing monthly remittances to external Suppliers.
  • Process staff business expenses and credit card transactions.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
  • Sending monthly CIS statements to subcontractors and customer statements.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong Maths and English skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-discipline and ability to work independently.
  • Good team working skills.

Essential Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent in: 5's GCSE - including English and Maths (grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent).
