Marketing & Communications Manager - Maternity Cover (Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team at Shared Interest Society Ltd on a fixed-term contract, covering a maternity leave. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our brand and services.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Strategy Development
- Contribute to the development of our overall marketing strategy, aligning with our business objectives.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to achieve specific goals and targets.
- Brand Management
- Act as the brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
- Lead the development of marketing materials, including print and digital collateral.
- Social Media and PR
- Manage our social media presence, creating engaging content and interacting with our online community.
- Lead all PR activity, including media relations and press releases.
- Content Creation
- Develop and produce high-quality content, including copywriting and editing.
- Commission and manage relationships with external design and print agencies.
- Team Management
- Manage the Marketing and Communications Officer, providing guidance and support.
- Act in a supporting role to the Member Engagement Director.
- Experience
- At least five years' experience in marketing and communications, with a strong background in brand management and development.
- Experience in the membership sector is desirable.
- Skills
- Strong copywriting and people management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
- Excellent project management and customer relationship management skills.
- Education and Qualifications
- Fluency in English.
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent practical experience in marketing/communications.
