We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract, covering a maternity leave. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to promote our brand and services.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of our overarching marketing strategy and create effective marketing communication plans to engage our target audience.
- Brand Management: Act as our brand guardian and lead copywriter/editor, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and communications.
- Social Media Management: Manage our social media presence and develop a content calendar to engage our online community.
- PR and Communications: Lead all PR activity and develop relationships with external media contacts to secure press coverage.
- Content Creation: Develop and implement a content strategy to create engaging and informative content for our website, social media, and marketing materials.
- Team Management: Manage the Marketing & Communications Officer and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of marketing and communications projects.
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience in marketing and communications, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Skills: Strong copywriting and people management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
- Education: Educated to degree level, or equivalent practical experience in marketing and communications.
