Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Kier Group. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a portfolio of design and build water and sewerage treatment works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and mitigate commercial and contractual risks, ensuring compliance with Kier Group's policies and procedures.
  • Measure works carried out and reconcile to Target Cost, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Maximise cash flow by ensuring timely payments and implementing effective cash flow management strategies.
  • Provide commercial input, including financial and contractual performance forecasts, to the management team.
  • Support operational teams in areas such as Contract Compliance, financial impact of decisions, and value maximisation/cost saving techniques.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying and a full UK driving licence.
  • Experience on NEC contracts with Target Costs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft business suite, Oracle, Causeway accounting systems, and Aconex contract portal.
  • Experience within the construction or civils industry.
