Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Kier Group. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading a small team of commercial professionals in delivering a series of projects/portfolio of works within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks stream on the Severn Trent Water contract.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group's policies for risk management.
• Measure works carried out and reconcile to Target Cost;
• Ensure cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are received on time;
• Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team;
• Provide assistance, guidance and support to the operational teams in the areas of: Contract Compliance, The financial impact of decisions; Value maximisation/cost saving techniques.
Requirements
• Degree in Quantity Surveying and a full UK driving licence;
• Experience on NEC contracts with Target Costs;
• Experience of the following systems, Microsoft business suite, Oracle, Causeway accounting systems, and Aconex contract portal;
• Experience within the construction or civils industry.
