Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

The Sisk Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the commercial and construction team, you will work on 2-3 projects, ensuring successful project delivery, maintaining relationships, maximizing commercial returns, and managing risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tenders, analyze, select appropriate subcontractors, negotiate, and finalize subcontract orders, financial and commercial management of subcontractors to Final Account completion.
  • Manage and report forecasts, targets, reconciliations, site records, document control, variation reporting, valuations, and assist in site records and document control.
  • Liaise with and commercially influence/challenge site management teams while maintaining and protecting Sisk Group commercial and contractual entitlement.
  • Manage and oversee AQS and TQS, checking and taking responsibility for their work and sign-off SMM/measurement issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in build projects.
  • Experience working on large hospital/healthcare schemes (ideal for one of the projects).
  • A relevant 3rd-level qualification.
  • Experience in report writing, forecast planning, and engaging with clients and senior leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
