About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Adoption Inspector to join our team at Leep Utilities. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our wastewater infrastructure is installed and adopted to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and survey wastewater infrastructure at installation stages and post-construction to ensure compliance with approved plans and regulations.
  • Identify and report any defects or remediation work required, and work with developers and contractors to rectify issues.
  • Assist Wastewater Adoption Managers with onsite inquiries and provide technical expertise to ensure that wastewater assets are fit for adoption.
  • Collaborate with site agents and ground workers to ensure a smooth and efficient adoption process.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety rules and policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Collect and document water assets on the Leep Utilities Asset Database.
  • Witness air tests/pressure tests of sewer networks and pressure pipes to ensure compliance with design and construction guidance.
  • Plan and manage own site inspection programme to ensure that all construction sites are monitored to the appropriate standard.
About You
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wastewater assets and the design and installation process is essential.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to read and understand 'as laid' drawings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with developers and contractors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Full driving licence required.
  • Background experience in drainage infrastructure construction and adoptions is highly desirable.
