About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Adoption Inspector to join our team at Leep Utilities. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our wastewater infrastructure is installed and adopted to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Inspections: Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure that wastewater infrastructure is installed in accordance with approved plans and designs.
  • Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of wastewater assets and ensure that they are fit for adoption.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any engineering issues that may arise.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
  • Asset Documentation: Collect and document water assets on our Leep Utilities Asset Database.
  • Adoption Process: Ensure that sewer networks are constructed and adopted in accordance with approved drawings and design and construction guidance.
  • Site Meetings: Attend pre-construction site meetings with developers and contractors to discuss project plans and requirements.
  • Testing and Inspection: Witness air tests and pressure tests of sewer networks and pressure pipes to ensure compliance with design and construction guidance.
  • Program Management: Plan and independently manage your site inspection program to ensure that all construction sites are monitored to the appropriate standard.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of wastewater assets and the design and installation process.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with developers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Full driving license to travel to site locations.
  • Background experience in drainage infrastructure construction and adoptions.
