The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to lead the development of our Cancer Services team as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist.

This role involves supporting the Lead Pharmacist in providing clinical pharmacy services to our chemotherapy day unit and inpatient haematology ward, while also developing the skills of our pharmacy technicians in aseptic preparation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide pharmaceutical care for patients with cancer.
  • Release systemic anticancer treatments (SACT & CIVAS) and clinical trials products prepared by the aseptic production unit.
  • Develop and implement training programs for pharmacy technicians to enhance their skills in aseptic preparation.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings as a source of advice for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Requirements:

  • Vocational Master's Degree in Pharmacy + 1 year pre-registration training.
  • Registration as a Practicing Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Evidence of completion of the Aseptic Preparation and Dispensing of Medicines Course (University of Leeds).

Estimated Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
