Job Title: Custody Healthcare Specialist
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work within the criminal justice system, providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable individuals. As a Custody Healthcare Specialist, you will deliver physical and mental healthcare services to detainees in police custody suites.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather forensic samples as required by the police to aid investigations.
- Assess detainees' fitness to be detained or released, administer medications when necessary, and collaborate with local Liaison and Diversion teams to address root cause issues.
- A competitive salary based on shifts per month: £20/hour for 1-2 shifts, £22/hour for 3-5 shifts, and £24/hour for 6+ shifts.

Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum
Requirements- Registered Adult Nurse (RGN) or Paramedic with 2 years' post-qualification experience.
- Current HCPC/NMC registration and a valid driving license.
- UK residency for at least 3 years, with no gaps of more than 3 months outside the country.
- All candidates will undergo police vetting.
