Support and Learning Mentor for Young People

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Support and Learning Mentor for Young People to join our team at a secondary special needs school in the Stockport area. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to students with complex needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and make progress towards their educational goals.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a school setting and be able to work effectively with students, staff, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity that requires the ability to start as soon as possible. The salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with specific learning needs.
- Assist students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, including anxiety and mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with the SEN team and other professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans.
