Skill Requirements
  • Commitment to working with complex needs: Demonstrate experience in supporting young individuals with high-end behavioral challenges.
  • Staff Leadership: Inspire a team, take responsibility for training, supervisions, and rotas.
  • Positive Role Model: Set an example for the children and young people in our care.
  • Children's Standards Delivery: Ensure all requirements are met within the home setting.
  • Management Experience: Previous management experience is essential in a residential children's home setting.
  • Desirable Qualifications: A level 5 qualification in Children, Young People, and Family Practitioner or equivalent would be advantageous; however, we consider deputies with 12 months' supervisory experience and NVQ levels 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care for Young People.
