Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain up-to-date with best practices in residential childcare.

Requirements:

  • 12 months experience in a Children's Residential Care role.
  • Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or currently working towards this).
  • Full UK driving licence.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.40-£14.22 (dependent on experience/qualifications).
  • A sleep-in rate of £30.00.
  • Overtime rate of 1.25 x hourly rate.
  • Estimated gross annual pay based on full-time hours + 10 sleep-ins: £31,172-£32,877 (dependent on experience/qualifications).
