We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Band 6 CAMHS Practitioners. As a specialist in child and adolescent mental health, you will work with young people and their families to provide comprehensive assessments and interventions.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct full assessments and evaluations of mental health care for children, young people, and their families, adhering to local and national guidelines.
- Provide regular consultation, joint work, training, and advice to other agency staff to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
- Hold a caseload of young people with complex mental health needs and provide assessments and therapeutic treatment programs.
We are a service that values creativity, responsiveness, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people. As part of the CYP IAPT initiative, we work in partnership with the Reading CYP-IAPT collaborative, offering opportunities for further training and development.
Requirements:- Significant experience working with children and adolescents.
- Ability to demonstrate and apply understanding of policies and procedures, including NICE Guidelines, Mental Health Act, and Children Act.
- Substantial experience in mental health, including assessment, formulation, risk assessment, and positive risk management.
