Job Description:

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical production machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient operation of the manufacturing facility, minimizing downtime, and enhancing production efficiency.

  1. Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults promptly to minimize downtime.
  3. Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Health & Safety regulations, particularly regarding electrical safety.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and work completed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong emphasis on electrical systems, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong electrical skills, including fault-finding and repair, complemented by mechanical maintenance capabilities.
  • Qualifications: Relevant engineering qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance, with an electrical focus or equivalent.
  • Degree: A degree or advanced certification in Electrical Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work shifts.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
