Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive accuracy and completeness of asset lifecycle stages in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) process.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of attributes required to support ITAM processes and controls.

• Identify and drive improvement to 'evidenced' and 'accuracy' scores supported by the Technology Asset Inventory reconciliation engine.

• Maintain the mapping of reported asset lifecycle stages to the lifecycle stages defined in the ITAM Standard.

• Manage the scope of asset attributes required for ITAM, with a focus on class-based required attributes.

• Identify authorized assets and create/maintain a register of IT asset inventory data quality issues.

• Report and observe IT asset data quality, and develop/executive/oversee data validation processes as required.

• Ensure the availability of priority attributes in both the Asset Management Database (AMDB) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

• Ensure the accuracy of lifecycle attributes for assets, with a focus on prioritized level 1/level 2 attributes.

• Support compliance and audit requirements.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree.

• Experience with ServiceNow.

• ITIL4 Foundations.

• ITAM/Configuration Management.

• Problem Management: Kepner-Tregoe method or 5 why's method.

• JIRA Project Management.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, PowerBI, and JIRA for tracking and reporting on team activities.

• Strong written/verbal communication skills.

• Strong Client (Internal) Management & Stakeholder Management Skills.

• Strong Data Analytical skills with ability to digest requirements, share feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ability to set and meet deadlines.

• Excellent attention to details with ability to identify data trends and patterns.

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability; should be able to act independently.

• Ability to work as part of a multi-region distributed team.

• Individual must be able to multi-task effectively.

• Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
