About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Management Specialist to join our team at Accolite. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of IT asset data, driving improvement in data quality, and maintaining the integrity of our IT asset inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Lifecycle Management: Drive accuracy of the asset lifecycle stage in the IT asset inventory, ensuring that assets are properly classified and tracked throughout their lifecycle.
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Drive improvement to 'evidenced' and 'accuracy' scores supported by the Technology Asset Inventory reconciliation engine, identifying discrepancies in source data and driving remediation activity.
  • Attribute Management: Maintain the mapping reported asset lifecycle stage in the IT asset inventory to the lifecycle stages defined in the ITAM Standard, ensuring that attributes are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Scope Management: Manage the scope of asset attributes required for ITAM, with a focus on directional maturity toward class-based required attributes.
  • Authorized Assets: Identify authorized assets and ensure that they are properly tracked and managed in the IT asset inventory.
  • Data Quality Issues: Create and maintain a register of IT asset inventory data quality issues, ensuring that issues are properly documented and addressed.
  • Reporting and Observability: Report and observe IT asset data quality, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Data Validation: Develop, execute, and oversee data validation processes where required, ensuring that data is accurate and reliable.
  • Attribute Availability: Ensure that lifecycle attributes for assets are accurate, with a focus on prioritized level 1/level 2 attributes.
  • Compliance and Audit: Support compliance and audit requirements, ensuring that IT asset data is accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Experience with ServiceNow, ITIL4 Foundations, ITAM/Configuration Management, Problem Management, and JIRA Project Management.
  • Skills: Knowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, PowerBI, and JIRA for tracking and reporting on team activities, strong written/verbal communication skills, strong client management and stakeholder management skills, strong data analytical skills, ability to set and meet deadlines, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work as part of a multi-region distributed team.
