Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse

Location: HMP Highdown, Sutton

Salary: £35,329 - £42,618 per annum

The Forward Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 6 Substance Misuse Nurse to join our team at HMP Highdown. As a key member of our integrated substance misuse team, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of daily treatments and supporting service users in their recovery from drug or alcohol addiction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical and psychosocial interventions to service users
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve treatment goals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Provide support and guidance to service users

Requirements

  • Registered nurse with a minimum of 1 year post-registration experience
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of substance misuse
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
