Job Summary

The Site Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between contractors and clients, particularly in assessing site requests.

The primary objective is to guarantee that the Field Change Requests (FCR) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) are produced efficiently, allowing for quick treatment and feedback to facilitate construction activities.

The Site Coordinator will report functionally to the BNI BOP Piping Engineering Construction Lead and work closely with the construction team to ensure effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with contractors and clients to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  2. Review and assess site requests to ensure timely and efficient production of FCR and NCR.
  3. Coordinate the flow of communication between the construction team and the Front Office organisation to ensure relevant information is shared.
  4. Provide technical support and expertise to resolve technical queries and issues raised by the construction contractor.
  5. Manage resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in a similar role in the construction industry.
  • Meticulous and rigorous approach to engineering to achieve high professional standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills to coordinate efficient delivery of the construction team.
  • Ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders and work autonomously.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Degree in a related engineering field.
  • Chartered Engineer with a relevant engineering institute.
  • Detailed understanding of PWR design and experience in PWR operations.
  • Working knowledge of French language an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
