Job Description

As a Site Coordinator at Assystem, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction activities on site. Your primary objective will be to establish and maintain effective working partnerships with contractors and clients, particularly in the assessment of site requests.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the production of Field Change Requests (FCRs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) is sufficient to allow for quick treatment and feedback, enabling construction activities to proceed on schedule.
  • Collaborate closely with the construction team to identify and address technical issues, ensuring continuity of work by installation teams.
  • Manage resources efficiently within a defined budget, ensuring optimal use of personnel and materials.
  • Review FCRs and NCRs to ensure they contain sufficient information, including root cause, scope impacted, and details of the issue.
  • Propose remediation plans and ensure they are relevant and achievable, with a preferred option confirmed for project decision-making.
  • Establish regular contact with the construction team to review FCR/NCR trends, propose mitigation strategies, and track KPIs for FCR/NCR throughput.
  • Liaise with the Front Office organization to provide necessary information regarding relevant FCRs/NCRs.
  • Coordinate communication between the two parties to ensure relevant information is included in FCRs/NCRs.
  • Provide proactive technical support and expertise to enable site construction activities to be executed without blockers to delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in an equivalent or related role in the construction industry.
  • Meticulous and rigorous approach to engineering to achieve high professional standards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to ensure smooth communication between stakeholders.
  • Strong people leadership skills to coordinate efficient delivery of the construction team.
  • Ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously, with awareness of own limitations.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Degree in a related engineering field.
  • Chartered Engineer with a relevant engineering institute.
  • Detailed understanding of PWR design and experience in PWR operations.
  • Working knowledge of French language an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.
