About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to join our team at International Logistics Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and coordinate routine maintenance and emergency call-outs with contractors, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist with site visits, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collect and analyze data to produce reports and complete insurance questionnaires, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Update and maintain compliance records for certification audits, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Act as secretary to our Green committee, producing agendas and minutes, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
Requirements
  • Proven administrative/secretarial experience, with strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Methodical and able to prioritize workload and tasks effectively.
  • Forward thinking, with the ability to think on your feet and respond to emergency situations.
  • Able to travel to all ILG sites, with a valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • Previous experience with an EMS (desirable) and working to a budget (desirable).
