About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Sales Initiatives to join our team at Impinj.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow global strategic accounts in the UHF RFID ecosystem by selling and deploying customized item-intelligence solutions.
  • Lead the Field Application Engineer (FAE) at critical stages in the engagement with ecosystem partners and end-users to raise awareness of our EPIC product portfolio and provide support in the industrialization of their intelligent labels.
  • Serve as the field authority sought after by business development, product management, and marketing teams to generate brand awareness with end-users within key vertical markets and develop company insight into market needs and demand.
Requirements
  • Minimum 12 years of rich experience in a technical sales or business development role, preferably RF/wireless.
  • Demonstrated success with impactful sales, delivering best-in-class system and/or enterprise-level technical solutions.
  • Ability to quickly master and understand the UHF RFID ecosystem from End Users, SI, Service bureaus to Inlay manufacturers.
  • A history of success solving complex global sales issues in collaboration with a team.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce.com, our corporate online customer relationship management tool.
What We Offer
  • $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • 40-50% international and domestic travel.
