Department Manager - Contemporary Womenswear

As a Department Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the success of our contemporary womenswear department. You'll be responsible for both own-bought and concession areas, developing and executing strategies to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire your team, fostering a culture of excellence and exceeding sales targets through effective coaching, product knowledge training, and cross-category selling initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with concession managers to support their businesses, set improvement targets, and resolve any challenges that may arise.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor insights, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and risks, adapting strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure operational excellence by maintaining compliance with trading standards, health and safety regulations, and store procedures.
  • Optimize stock management through effective procedures, action plans, and team training, minimizing stock loss and maximizing profitability.
  • Work closely with visual merchandising and buying teams to enhance the customer experience through compelling displays, optimal stock levels, and a seamless shopping journey.
  • Continuously monitor department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to drive growth and efficiency.
