About the Role

The Department Manager - Contemporary Womenswear will be responsible for leading a high-performing team to drive sales and customer satisfaction in the Contemporary Womenswear department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer experience in the Contemporary Womenswear department.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with concession partners to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with trading standards, health and safety legislation, and store operating procedures.
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising plans to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to ensure high standards of customer service and visual presentation.

About You

We are looking for a commercially-minded and collaborative individual with a passion for retail and customer service. The ideal candidate will have:

Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and concession partners.Proven ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions.Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
