Job Title

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Environmental Policy Manager to join our team at HRC Recruitment.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and programs that ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of responsibility and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development: Develop and update HSE policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify hazards, and implement corrective and preventative measures.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on HSE best practices.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement improvements.
  • Sustainability: Lead initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Communication: Work closely with management, employees, and external agencies to promote HSE initiatives.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on HSE performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 14001).
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
