Learning Mentor Assistant

As a Learning Mentor Assistant at Colpai, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils who require additional help outside of regular lessons. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing individualised learning plans, providing one-to-one tuition, and facilitating group interventions. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that each pupil receives the necessary support to meet their needs.
About the Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, where pupils feel valued and supported. This involves establishing effective relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, as well as staying up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to the overall assessment process.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must have a strong understanding of child development and learning principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with pupils with SEND is highly desirable, and a degree in Education or a related field is preferred. Fluency in spoken English is essential.
Compensation Package
