Learning Mentor Position

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and committed Learning Mentor to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Learning Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students facing learning challenges due to social, emotional, behavioural issues, or other concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- To offer targeted support and guidance to children and young individuals encountering difficulties in learning.
- Provide individualized mentoring for students facing obstacles in learning, utilizing a range of strategies including developmental group work, in-class assistance, and one-to-one support.
- Develop customized action plans to monitor progress and assess impact, particularly for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with relevant agencies, pastoral teams, and other departments to address the needs of students and their families.
- Focus on issues such as unauthorized absences, enhancing academic achievement, minimizing exclusions, and addressing anti-social behaviours.
- Work closely with Senior Learning Mentors to establish appraisal targets aligned with departmental and school priorities.
