Senior Team Leader Opportunity

Cheshire West and Chester Council's Family Help and Support Team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Team Leader to join their Early Help and Prevention Service. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality services for local children and their families, including refugee families.

The Senior Team Leader will oversee the work of Family Intervention Workers, who assess the needs of children aged 0-19 and their families with complex and multiple needs. They will deliver a package of interventions using the Team Around the Family process, working towards sustained outcomes for families.

The Senior Team Leader will ensure that Family Intervention Workers play a lead role in advocating for families, signposting them to effective support, and empowering them to make informed decisions about their futures. The role requires strong management oversight and guidance, with a focus on trauma-informed approaches and partnership working.

The Early Help and Support thematic is a key area of focus for the Council, and the Senior Team Leader will be instrumental in driving this work forward. The post is based in the Northwich Winsford district, and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with local partners and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
