Retail Director Opportunity with AWD Online

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Director to lead our retail team and drive commercial growth across our UK and European retail outlets. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic background, leading a senior management team and overseeing the future growth of a well-established brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive retail strategy to achieve commercial objectives and enhance brand presence
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a large retail team, cultivating a collaborative and customer-first culture
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of retail stores, ensuring consistent brand standards, operational efficiency, and outstanding customer service
  • Analyse market trends, sales performance, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions and optimise revenue
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Product, and eCommerce teams to ensure a cohesive omnichannel experience
  • Drive innovative solutions to improve store performance, customer engagement, and competitive advantage
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies across all retail locations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior retail management position, ideally as a Retail Director or equivalent
  • Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with a successful track record of delivering profitable growth in a multi-site retail environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • A customer-centric approach with a deep understanding of retail best practices and a passion for enhancing customer experience
  • Experience in managing budgets, P&L, and KPIs to drive operational and financial performance
  • Knowledge of retail compliance standards, including health and safety regulations
