Job Opportunity: Strategic IT Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic IT Director to join our team at Finatal, a mid-market private equity fund.

Location: United Kingdom

Duration: 6 months (Immediate Start)

As a key member of our investment firm, the Strategic IT Director will be responsible for overseeing and leading the IT infrastructure, systems, and digital transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to support the internal technology strategy of a dynamic and growing investment firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic technology solutions that align with the firm's investment and operational goals.
  • Manage internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure efficient and secure technology operations.
  • Provide thought leadership on cybersecurity, data management, and other tech-related matters affecting portfolio management, risk, and performance.
  • Ensure scalability and robustness of technology platforms as the firm grows.
  • Assist in the integration of new technologies to streamline processes and support operational efficiency across the firm and its portfolio companies.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as a CIO or in senior technology leadership roles within the Private Equity (PE), Credit Fund, or broader Asset Management sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the unique technology needs and challenges within the investment management and private equity space.
  • Hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and technology solutions.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing both internal teams and external partnerships.
