Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking motivated individuals to join our Data Center team as part of a comprehensive Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP). This 12-week program offers hands-on training and practical experience within an AWS Data Center, working alongside experienced engineers.

As a Data Center Technician Trainee, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our critical infrastructure. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting with the maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems. You'll gain valuable insights into data center operations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support in the operation and upkeep of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the Data Center.
  • Assist engineers with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility equipment and building racks.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs to verify the proper functioning of facility equipment and monitoring systems.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis of equipment failures and assist in resolving technical issues within established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety procedures during work activities.
