Job Summary

We are seeking an Early Careers Advisor to join our team, reporting directly to the Senior Early Careers Advisor. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the full trainee lifecycle, including organizing events, developing relationships with university career services, and supporting the implementation of our new Solicitor Apprenticeship programme.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in early careers and/or development roles previously.


Responsibilities
  • Event Management: Organize events, including virtual events, for prospective trainee and Solicitor Apprentice candidates; develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy to attract top talent.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with university career services and societies to promote our firm and increase visibility among potential candidates.
  • Talent Sourcing: Book law fairs and other key outreach events with target universities to showcase our opportunities and build connections with future talent.
  • Communication Strategy: Co-ordinate a comms plan for social media accounts and update the Early Careers website as required to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Sustainability: Organize the purchasing of merchandise on an annual basis in line with the firm's sustainability commitments.

Requirements
  • A strong background in early careers and/or development roles, ideally within a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven event management skills, with experience organizing successful events that attract large audiences.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and ability to create engaging content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus benefits including a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.


Location

This role is based in our London office, with regular travel to other offices and external locations as required.
