MidKent College invites applications for an experienced trainer and mentor leader to join our team as an Engineering and Welding Apprenticeship Trainer. This is an excellent opportunity to work with students, employers, and colleagues to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

About the Role

This role involves delivering training programs that meet the needs of local industry and employers, with a focus on ensuring students acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen careers.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
  • Work closely with employers to understand their training needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers, promoting MidKent College as a centre of excellence in vocational education.
  • Monitor student progress and achievement, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted interventions where necessary.

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including access to a workplace health coach, Benenden Health & Health Assured services, and support for eye checks & glasses.
